“Hidden in the Heart of San Jose”
Elegant, quiet and secure. A former private home completely renovated. We are an owner operated B&B. Just a ten minute walk to the center of San Jose, the zoo and museums. Located at the end of a private road and surrounded by parkland, there is no city noise. There are a variety of wonderful restaurants within walking distance, and a taxi stand at the end of the street.
The Villa is surrounded by lush gardens that include many varieties of orchids, lilies, roses and tropical plants. There is also an interior garden with a fountain – a quiet place to read or have breakfast. There is a reading room on the first floor, a den with movies and music, and a dining room. We also offer our guests a “lending library”. After years of collecting there is quite a variety. The house is decorated with a variety of artwork and antiques from all over the world, including top Costa Rican artists. The front porch is still a favorite for reading and travel planning.
There are four bedrooms – two on the first floor and two on the second floor. Each is spacious and has a private bath with hot water. Each room also has Cable TV and has been decorated individually. All of our linens and towels are imported from North America and Europe

Double - $95 plus tax
Single - $80 plus taxAll of the rates above include a full American breakfast. The seventh night stay is free! We also offer free on-premise secure parking. Additionally, our driver can meet all arriving flights from Juan Santa Maria Airport and bring guests directly to our Villa, or drop our guests off at the airport, for an additional $20.00 fee for each airport trip taken.
Private tours and rental cars can be arranged through us.
